A MEDIEVAL HERB GARDEN IN ASSISI
It is the only known ethnobotanic garden in Italy.
The Assisi Nature Council joins a world-wide Campaign for the defence of Biodiversity according to the principle:" Think globally, act locally", following recommendations of the IUCN, and in cooperation with the educational Programme of Botanic Gardens Conservation International and concentrating the attention on the preservation of Mediterranean Biodiversity.

BUTTERFLY HILL ( LA COLLINA DELLE FARFALLE)
A Biodiversity Project for a Butterfly habitat creation/preservation on Mount Subasio Park, Assisi.
The Assisi Nature Council in cooperation with the Biology Department of Perugia University and the Mountain Community Mount Subasio, has created a project which enables to link tourism and biodiversity protection, creating a special Reserve to encourage and protect a favourable Butterfly habitat on Mount Subasio,
